It was about dinner time and my co-worker and I were trying to figure out what to get for dinner. She had left over piece of bread from lunch, so she wanted soup or salad. Soup actually sounded good, but the question was...where can we get soup? My boss suggested Marie Callender's that's only about 3 minutes away.
As I looked through their menu on the website, I said to my coworker, "I wonder what the soup of the day is today."
My boss blurted out, "Clam Chowder."
????????
My co-worker and I look at each other and asked him why.
He claims that soup of the day on Fridays is always clam chowder in any restaurant.
What????
I called Marie Callender's and ask for the soup of the day. Sure enough, it's clam chowder!!!
